2025 A year of progress and purpose
not all heroes wear capes
The communities of upstate New York, and western Vermont, came together in 2025 to impact thousands of people through the heroic act of organ and tissue donation. At the most difficult of times, families from across our area made the selfless decision to help those in desperate need.
organ donors save 369 lives
2025 was a rewarding and remarkable year for our mission. Thanks to the extraordinary courage of 191 donor families, 369 individuals were granted life-saving transplants. This collective generosity provided renewed health to recipients of all ages reaffirming the vital impact of organ donation.
Projecting Hope: the Impact of Tissue Donation
Tissue donation is a remarkable gift with a ripple effect that touches countless lives. From restoring sight and mobility to saving lives through life-altering repairs, a single donor hero possesses the extraordinary power to enhance up to 75 lives. In 2025, 483 heroes gave this selfless gift, a legacy of generosity projected to transform and uplift over 36,000 lives in the years ahead.
