Center for Donation & Transplant

History

The Center for Donation & Transplant (CDT) is one of 58 federally designated non-profit organ procurement organizations in the United States. CDT's core work:

Educating the community on the importance and impact of donation, encouraging those who wish to donate to register.

Supporting donor families through providing compassionate care, continuous support throughout the donation process, and long-term family aftercare services. Each year, CDT supports over 600 donor families through their donation experience.

Maximizing each donor's gifts through clinical expertise and collaboration with hospitals and transplant centers. Each year, nearly 200 lives are saved from organ transplantation while approximately 30,000 other lives are enhanced through the healing gift of tissue grafts.
